GPSS Roll Steering
Consider adding GPSS roll steering converter to your existing autopilot system to further enhance your approach capabilities. There are several converters now available for most systems.
To review products available see the descriptions below. STEC DAC- GDC31 Roll Steering Converter -This autopilot accessory is designed to receive RS232 or RS422 serial data from a GPS Navigation System, producing both an analog Roll Sum Steering (RSS) signal and ARINC 429 labels "bank angle command" and "ground speed". The RSS analog output drives the heading channel of the aircraft's existing autopilot, and the ARINC 429 output can drive digital autopilots or converters.
